Job Description

• Role Purpose Responsible for the entire warehouse related activities starting from setting up of warehouses according to the requirements of customers to all the other related activities. The purpose of this role is to assure smooth functioning of a particular warehouse which includes monitoring of service quality index, inventory control and all other warehouse related operations. Key Deliverables Set up warehouses and facilities as per contract order received from the customer and in accordance with the customer's requirement and/or investment by the company Operate and maintain the facilities; and carry out the following functions to the entire satisfaction of the customer: Inventory management House keeping Safety & Security Repairs & Maintenance of premises, furniture, fixtures and material handling equipment On time billing and follow up with FOD, COD and Non- submission of bill Maintain inbound and outbound load Generate timely MIS required by the customer and internal MIS required by the company Plan manpower requirement and get them into place with the help of HR Coordinate with the Service chain, Domestic chain, IT/IE and Business retention for existing and new contracts and for service related issues. To identify and develop vendors for transportation services requirements. Review the SQI performance by customer and review with STC/EC customer service and operations Functional Competencies Product Knowledge Competition Information Should be abreast with the business trends/market opportunities Capable of guiding & to extract the best from available resources.
