Job Description

• Import & Export experience is desirable with FMCG background. The candidate shall be responsible for handling procurement cycles, lead times and purchase requirements for the Divisions, in a timely and cost effective manner. Development of the current vendor base, negotiations and finalization with vendors prices & terms of supply. Follow up for on time material procurement determine appropriate source selection for materials, services, considering cost, quality and reliability. Control costs by exploring cost reduction opportunities like strategic sourcing, price re-negotiation, opportunity buying, and alternate vendor development. Control spends and build a culture of long term savings on procurement costs. Forecast levels of demand for services and products to meet the business needs & keeping a constant check on stock levels. Periodically evaluate Quality of services provided by the supplier. Processing payments & invoices. Develop organizations purchasing strategy. Oversee supply chain logistics for all supplies to be received. Contract Management & Negotiation. Understand & keep up with new market trends and regulations in business Liaising between suppliers manufacturers, relevant internal departments and maintaining good working relationships
