Technical Requirements :- Expertise in designing board using above tools and having mixed analog/digital designs, power supplies, DC-DC converters, modern FPGA and memories by impedance-controlled traces and design meeting EMI/EMC requirements. Exposure to Agile, Jira, Scrum tools.

Job Description

• Position Summary :- The ECAD engineer will be part of power electronics team. The purpose of the role is to design new/legacy printed circuit boards for welding/cutting power supply and its accessories. This position will interact with Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, component engineer, sourcing, test JIG team, PCB fabrication, production assembly, quality and product care. Scope of Responsibility :- Successful candidate will be responsible for creating printed circuit board (PCB) layouts for a variety of welding/cutting power sources and its accessories Performance Objectives :- Use the ECAD tools such as Zuken CR5000, OrCAD Capture/Allegro, Altium for library part creation, Schematic generation, component placement, planning power planes, routing, preparing NC drill files, and generating necessary Gerber/ODB++ files for manufacturing and should be familiar with conversion of files in one tool to other. Interact with global EMS partner for PCB manufacturing, and local small-scale suppliers for complete quick-turn prototype PCB assemblies. Interact with global Electrical/Mechanical Engineers (India, Sweden, Poland and USA) to accomplish design for manufacturability (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), and design for test (DFT) according to industry standards such as IEC, IPC etc. Contribute to component library development for schematic symbols, update data base part parameters Contribute to the development and maintenance of ECAD standard documentation Qualification :-
